Unicycle hockey, is just like regular ball hockey but better … because it’s on unicycles! The emphasis is on fun rather than heavy competition. Teams change around every time and sometimes mid session. And we’re an inclusive group.
We use the bike polo court in Grandview Park when it’s available; otherwise we move over to the
nearby Britannia school grounds.
If you already ride, a unicycle with a maximum wheel size of 24” can be used and any regular hockey
stick other than a goalie stick. If you don’t know how to ride or don’t currently have a unicycle, come along
anyway as we have spares to use or to learn on.
Lessons and practice on a unihockey game day start at 10am with the actual game starting about 10:30.
Happens about once per month, weather permitting.
