Join our unicycle club!

Hello and welcome to VanUni!

We meet up for rides at least once a month, and are always happy to teach new riders.

Our rides are organized through our email group, and on Facebook. If you’d like to join our email group, head on over to the Google Group!

If you’d prefer to keep up to date with our meetups through Facebook, then like our Facebook Page, and join our Facebook Group!

We use the Facebook page to organize group rides & beginner lessons, and the Facebook Group is where we coordinate on when a ride might happen, or ask each other questions, or share stories about unicycling.

If you have any questions or inquiries, please contact us via info@vanuni.com.

Unicycle Hockey on The Drive – Sept 22nd

Come celebrate fall by having a rousing game of unicycle hockey with us, or just come to watch!

Game starts at 6pm sharp, with beginner lessons at 5:30pm.

BEGINNER LESSONS!

We will be offering beginner lessons at 5:30pm. All we ask is that you send us an email at info@vanuni.com so that we know how many extra unicycles we’ll need.

If you have a bit of unicycle experience, but want some advice, tips, or tricks come on out at 5:30pm and we’ll hook you up.

This event is completely free!! We just love to play unicycle hockey and to spread our passion for unicycling.

Unicycle Hockey on The Drive – June 30th

Summer is here and it is high time we had a game of unicycle hockey. So dust off that hockey stick, grab your uni, and head down to the bicycle polo court on Commercial Drive next Thursday for some serious fun! You’ll find us here: https://goo.gl/maps/Kp1HaGPkp4R2

If you have never ridden a unicycle before don’t let that stop you from coming out! We are a very friendly bunch and will happily teach you, or even just chat with you during breaks. We’d love to have you!

If you know how to ride, but have never played hockey then rest assured that it isn’t nearly as difficult as it sounds, and is heaps of fun. We make an effort to ensure everyone has a chance with the ball, and beginners are very welcome. One of the best ways to improve is by learning from those who share your passion.

We do have extra unicycles and hockey sticks if you need one, just let us know in advance so we can plan for it.

Here are a few photos from the day:
